Everyone,
As we are working hard for this Historic Russia MapRaid, I’d like to take a minute and introduce you to our hosts and few people who are working very hard behind the scenes.
Manzareck, Gobal Champ, RUSSIA
vladimobile, Gobal Champ, RUSSIA
RIFF_RAFF, Global Champ, Latvia
alexletov, Local Champ, RUSSIA In Waze since 2014, currently LC and CM in Russia. I’m responsible for St Petersburg area waze map and some services that we offer to waze editors to help them be more productive. I’m always open to help other people in waze editing & driving. IRL working as PM in IT (networking & automotive)
maxmize, Local Power Editor, CM, RUSSIA I am Moscow citizen and Area manager, currently country manager. Wazing since 2013. My occupation is customer IT Support also since 2013 so my way is to help people make their life and job easier and better. I am motorhead so driving is a big part of my life. That’s why Waze matters.
Marcin_S, Local Champ, Poland I am from Poland, I am Local Champ, Country Manager of Poland, India and Pakistan, I have some practise in Raids and in mentoring. What I like most in Waze? Fellowship with people driven by similar incentives that are ready to help and cooperate and who have fun out of it
voludu2, Country Manager, USA I live near Philadelphia and am a Waze State Manager in Pennsylvania, and a USA Country Manager, and I think I do more work on the wiki than on the map.
I like helping new editors understand what makes the map work, and making wiki pages easier to understand.
JustinS83, Country Manager, USA I started editing consistently in 2014. I have enjoyed all aspects of editing - from fixing Update Requests, creating and harmonizing Places to finding and mentoring new editors. Over time it became apparent that I could help more people get more done and get things done more consistently by working on scripts that enhance WME. Now I try to split my time between being SM, coming up with new scripts/features to make the most of editors’ time and the WazeDev group to bring developers together under one group to help each other, maintain scripts, and provide resources for scripters getting started in tinkering with WME.
Okrauss, Country Manager, Israel An Israeli country manager (also RM in Thailand and AM in turkey). Wazing since the app was launched in israel (about 10 years ago). Editing since 2014. Happy to be part of the amazing community of waze map editors and helping improve the map where ever needed.
Glodenox, Regional Manager, BeNeLux I started helping with Waze 2.5 years ago as I enjoy working with maps. I started off as a regular map editor in Belgium, but it quickly turned out my programming skills were much more useful, hence why I now spend most of my Waze time on userscripts, as well as some other tools that help map editors in their map editing. At the moment I am a Local Champ within the Benelux community.
JasonN899, State Manager, USA I live near Baltimore and am a State manager for Maryland. I have been wazing since 2014. I love helping new editors get started. And if I’m not editing the map I’m usually editing/creating a Google sheet
mapomatic, Area Manager, USA I’m an AM from Kentucky, USA. One of the things I enjoy most about Waze editing is creating scripts that help the community to perform tasks in WME faster, easier, and more accurately.
GeekDriverPeaceful, Area Manager, USA Known as GDP, a NJ & NY AM, creator of the Road Data Sheet, always stay open minded and seek to solve routing problems in WME. Love to help and collaborate with editors globally.
Thank you all for registering. We will host a webinar where we talk about WME (Waze Map Editor) basics and the goals of the MapRaid for all new and young editors on Monday Feb, 5th. If you like to join, please see info below:
Registered! Also, I’ve been a Linux user for 20 years and I’m still really surprised about this message appearing even now, 2018 (issue that I’ll ignore, of course):

Would love if it was recorded (please?!) - I’ll be travelling for work so unable to join the webinar at the scheduled time - but I’m sure there’s important information you will share!
Thanks!
Excellent! I’ll be driving to class at that point, so I won’t be able to attend this one. I hope to watch a recording, or be able to participate in another webinar at a different time!
Thanks for all the hard work you’re putting into this to make it come together!
