I use an adroid razr maxx. The app works great until I plug it into the navigation dock. On the screen there are 4 options. navigation is 1. If I click on that it looks like im on google maps and not waze. Does anyone have a fix for this? Thx
I work around this in one of two ways on my Android Phone.
The Car Mode App (made by Andrew Schwimmer) allows me to exit out of the Car Dock Mode (Drag the Task Bar down and the Car Mode app will be seen whenever the phone is in the dock. Clicking on this will exit Car Dock mode and I can then launch Waze normally.
The other way is to install the Car Dock Home V3 App (by IG88 APPS) which will pop up when the Phone is Docked, but it is configurable so you can put any app on it’s desktop by doing a Long Press and selecting the app you want displayed on the Car Dock desktop. (I wish it would let me move the Icons once they are placed, but that is a minor issue. Simply delete the Icon and then Long Press in the area where you want the Waze Icon to be placed on the Car Dock Home desktop)
