Need help map editing

I have read the forum because I have found a couple roads I would like to delete since they do not exist. I saw directions saying to go to live map them click on update map. When I go to live map and click on update map an error comes up saying " your browser does not support vector rendering. Currently supported renderers are SVG, VML, and canvas." I would like to fix it because Waze tries to send me to a connecting road that doesn’t exist. I’m sorry if this topic has been touched on before, I just can’t seem to do it and I would like to help improve the map. Thank you.

What browser are you using? Internet explorer, google chrome, Firefox, safari?

Google Chrome works best.

This is bad, I know, but I’m not sure. I’m using my Moto Razr Android phone. I guess I need to find out sorry

You can’t use your phone, you need to log into the editor at home and delete the roads from there.

Ok I will try my desktop. I bet that’s exactly what it is. Thank you so much, I spent so much time trying to figure it out with my phone. St least I know now.

Alittle off topic, I noticed you are an AM for Pinellas, Fl. I live in broward and was wondering if there is a way to see who is your area manager. If you know of anyone it know where to find the info. I have a seen a list with some editors for FL, but it didn’t say what area if FL they were am for. Thank you

*or where to find the info. Swype isn’t always 100% accurate.

It really isn’t important to know who the Area Manager(s) are in your area (they may be many, some, or none). If you find a map issue when you are Wazing and don’t want to try to fix it yourself in the Waze Map Editor - submit a Map Issue from the spot of the problem in the Waze Application. Be sure to include some details so whomever works on your Map Update Request can understand what issue you were having.

You can edit yourself within 1 mile of where you have driven with Waze. Be sure to read the Waze Wiki, Map Editing section before you being to edit anything.

If you begin to edit and like it, you can request to become an Area Manager yourself. Details on how to do so are in the Wiki. Area Manager is more like a role vs. a title. Every place can and should have many Area Managers.

After you read the Wiki and start editing, if you have questions ask them in the forum.
