Works fine for me on Edge, no scripts disabled. Both entering the HN mode and adding a new HN work.

P.S. Sorry, didn’t see the reply. Waze Map Editor - Magic stopped working a long time ago and I haven’t seen a working version since. The most useful feature from it are the zoom shortcuts.

Maybe it’s a user error but after selecting Cameras for example, I have a hard time getting the mouse pointer to then select the “speed cameras” or other options. The mouse must be marginally moving out of the selection box, which then closes

Thank you for your feedback regarding the new Unify Action Areas.

We understand that any design change, especially one as significant as this, takes time to get used to. Please know that we didn’t make these changes lightly.

  • We iterated on the menu design over 2 months of beta testing, going through 3 major iterations.
  • We presented 2 final design options to the community for voting, and we’re very grateful for your participation and the valuable feedback you provided during beta testing.
  • To help ease the transition, we’ve added keyboard shortcuts for commonly used functions.

Regarding Scripts:We’re aware that some scripts are experiencing issues.

  • Many of the current problems were flagged during the beta phase. We published a list of breaking changes and were in direct contact with script writers via email and chat, providing the necessary information to update their scripts. You might have not been aware/seen these exchanges as they occur in a closed forum and chat for script authors.
  • Script writers may take a few days to adjust their scripts.

We understand that despite our efforts to communicate changes that could break scripts and the many efforts of script writers to act upon these changes and maintain their scripts, editors are encountering broken scripts in the prod. environment. We know this is not ideal and that we can do better.

For this reason, we’re actively working on a WME SDK that we hope will resolve this issue and provide more stability in the future. We have a group of amazing Early Adopters who are currently testing the WME SDK with their scripts – a huge thank you to them!

We appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve the WME. If you’d like to test features before they reach prod. , get in touch with your coordinator to join the WME Beta Community.

Thank you. The issue is resolved. Event this old issue is also resolved today. I just created the sharp curve hazard which is not possible before.

hi,

i’m not sure if this has been answered before, so apologies if it has. but i have noticed over the past few months (forgot to screenshot) that the ur time of report and update are different? does the original time mean when the user clicked the map issue and the update time is when it was released onto wme? and obviously once a response is added the updated time resets.

Hi,

I’m getting a weird message when I want to approve this PUR.
I get an error on invalid name of a service, whereas I don’t see anything wrong.invalid_name_service.png

Is there something not in sync with eg the app, where one can choose things which are not available for the validation upon approval?

Thank you for the report. I’m checking this case with the team and will get back to you shortly.

Updated: Eddy, we have reviewed this example and found that the requested change to “disability parking” should be applied to the place type “parking lot.” It is not available for supermarkets like Okay Putte. This is why the error occurred.

Is “invalid name of a service” the ideal message for this circumstance? I’ve witnessed it and it doesn’t help indicate what needs corrected.

This is really a Discuss question, and I believe it’s been brought up there already. People are adding services in the app that WME cannot handle, and you get that invalid service error. There are a couple of ways to get around it, that have been discussed in other places. There is an open bug for it already in WME.

this happens with nearly all of the urs. the reported time and update time are always different, if i see more i’ll add it here but most show the inconsistency for me.

is WME having trouble now? currently around 28 August 6:50 UTC, the satellite imagery layer doesn’t show anything, only additional imagery works.

Hi,

I have this strange behavior. I’m currently setting all closure for the European Championship Cycling.
As not all info is available at once and it’s a bunch of work, this is spread over several days.
This works fine for new closures, but when one want to duplicate or apply closures to other segments, I get this:provider.png

Thing is, that I never set a provider when creating a closure. It is set automatically and only the day after. I can duplicate/apply closures at the same moment as I set the original, but never the next day(s).
Thing is that I can’t change the provider afterwards. Only when creating and duplicating (where I need to set explicitly to ‘none’ each time in order to make it work) let you choose a provider, editing a closure doesn’t even show the provider or let you change it.
This make it very annoying and a time consuming task.
Can this be fixed pls?
