Ngodwana area

Hi!

I am trying to map the area around Ngodwana as the village is not on the waze map. Think I’m doing ok, Drew the map on the from the satellite image, drove most of the roads with Waze on and adjusted the streets, also added house numbers!

I am struggling a bit though. The streets of the village must be connected to minor and major highways but it seems as if I can’t do that. I assume that being a level 1 editor is the reason. I’ve been able to get junction points but I do not get any “turn permission” options.

Can anybody assist me in seeing if I went wrong somewhere?

Welcome to the addiction of Waze map editing. Looking good. You’re on the right track.

Can I ask that you set the suffixes as per the Wiki. So a Street is St, not street, straat, st, str, Str, or any the other variations found all over the show.

There are lots of turn restrictions within the village. Use Shift-Z to toggle highlighting these restrictions.

I’ve dropped the lock level of Kaapschehoop Rd so that you can create your junctions and set the appropriate turn restrictions. Let me know when you’re done, and I’ll raise it again.
