We are excited to announce the launch of the Project KoiFish course*.
This initiative allows you to connect Google’s automated data with your local knowledge.
What you will learn:
- Map Suggestions: Learn how to find and manage Map Suggestions (MS) within the Issue Tracker to provide the most accurate navigation possible.
- The G.I.D. Method: Master the three-step process for handling suggestions:
- Gather: Collect the necessary data
- Investigate: Verify if the suggestion is Real, Drivable, and Legal
- Decide: Make the decision based on community standards
- New Segments and Attribute Suggestions: Learn how to handle suggestions for new roads and attribute suggestions, such as speed limits and road types (currently available in the US, Brazil, and Belgium).
- Strategic Rejections: Understand how choosing the correct rejection reason triggers a defined response in Google Maps, ensuring that non-existent or restricted roads are removed globally.
- Magic Selector: Use our new tool to bulk-approve attributes across multiple segments and speed up your workflow.
