Hello, Wazers!
It is with great pleasure that I announce that the new Wazeopedia Brazil Homepage is now live!
From now on, anyone who accesses Wazeopedia will find a clear, intuitive, and welcoming page, designed to make life easier for those starting out and also to provide fresh energy to those who have already been contributing to the community for a longer time.
The main highlight of the new structure is direct access to the Editing Manual, which has become the central hub for all technical content on the Wiki. Instead of spreading links across several separate pages, everything now starts from a single place that organizes, guides, and boosts the journey of any editor — from beginner to the most experienced.
What has already been done:
- Total restructuring of the homepage, with a focus on accessibility, clarity, and a welcoming feel.
- Creation of over 15 new topics, based on official documentation translated and adapted for the Brazilian context.
- Review of 30 existing topics to update and maintain consistency with new features.
- Integration of the new content into the Editing Manual as the navigation core.
- Standardization of formatting, terms, and structure across topics.
Next steps:
- Continue the expansion of pending content.
- Restructure legacy pages to align with the new standard.
- Review the other pages pending updates.
- Incorporate topics that reflect the evolution of the Brazilian community.
Important Acknowledgments
I want to record my thanks to @alemenezes, who invited me to join the Wazeopedia group, trusting in my dedication to help build this new moment for the Wiki.
Also to @tenlucas, the community coordinator, for trusting our work and supporting the changes with freedom and encouragement.
And a special thanks to @PatrickBLopes, the Champ responsible for Wazeopedia, who has been side-by-side with me in decisions, reviews, and execution. This partnership has been fundamental in getting the project off the ground and taking shape, along with the other members of the team @gamasi and @brepilef.
The invitation now is for everyone to browse, give feedback, contribute, and especially use the new homepage as a starting point for your edits and guidance. It’s for all of us!
I’ve tagged the @br-area-manager here to ensure no one misses this update.
This is an important milestone in our evolution as a community!
See you at the Mega Meetup, and may this new moment for Wazeopedia also be a new chapter for the Brazilian community! ![]()
Happy Editing,
