Novo no waze? Se apresente, fale sobre você ;)

Welcome, @joaoelopes !! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Good afternoon!

My name is Miguel, I live in Ponta Grossa - PR, and I travel around the city and the stretch to Carambeí during the week. I wasn’t aware of the map editor, even though I’ve been using Waze for years and wanting to suggest updates.

I travel fairly often to Curitiba, Castro, and even some cities in SP.

I want to do my best to improve the map of Ponta Grossa, which currently has some significant and long-standing discrepancies that need to be corrected. I mainly need to learn how the level system works so that I can later provide “temporary events” updates, since PG has a ridiculous number of road closures, construction, etc.

I hope to contribute to the local community as a whole! Waze has saved me multiple times over the last few years.

Good morning! My name is Lucas, I live in Belo Horizonte and I often visit the metropolitan areas. After noticing some outdated parts of the map in areas I frequent, I started reporting errors and was pleased to discover the map editor. I hope to help more drivers by updating the maps with my knowledge of the places I visit.

A very warm welcome! You can count on the editor community to help you learn more every day.

Welcome to the world of editing.

Hello, everyone!

My name is César Mendes, I am from Patrocínio/MG, a Public Servant, and I have been working in the field of Public Safety for about 20 years. I have a degree in Information Systems and am passionate about information technology, which reinforces my interest in technology, data, and systems that directly impact people’s daily lives.

I am very interested in learning and contributing to the Waze Editor Community, especially in improving the quality of map information, data correction, and enhancing navigation for users. I believe that the accuracy and reliability of information are essential for both urban mobility and road safety.

My interest in contributing to Waze arose after experiencing many difficulties being without a phone signal and not having updated navigation maps, and witnessing the lack of coverage in the rural areas of my region—which, by the way, is a prominent agribusiness hub where the economy revolves around the agricultural sector in rural areas. Good navigability in these rural areas will greatly assist the people who travel on those roads.

I am available to learn from the community and actively collaborate in whatever way is needed.

Count on me!

Good morning, @cesarptcmg (César Mendes)!

Welcome Cesar, happy editing

Hi everyone! My name is Caio, I’m an engineer, passionate about technology, living in the interior of Rio de Janeiro, and I’ve been part of Waze since its launch in 2012.

Even though I’ve used the app since the start, I only ever made reports through the app itself, but recently, after noticing some discrepancies on the map, I became interested in joining the editor community. I’ve even made a few edits that were approved, but I’d like to learn more from all of you to improve my edits and be able to contribute to the community.

Welcome to the community @caiorosa!

Have you checked out Wazeopedia yet? The complete editing guide is available there.

If you’re interested in becoming an editor, it’s worth signing up for the Mentorship Program. A more experienced editor will guide you through the beginning and help with the first steps of your journey as an editor.

Welcome, @caiorosa. By doing the mentorship, you’ll be able to edit with higher quality! I recommend it!

Hi everyone! My name is Gabriel, I live in Barretos/SP, I’m an agronomist and I travel a lot.

I’m very interested in participating in the editor community to help update and improve the maps. Since I travel a lot, I always see some things out of date on the maps that could help other people.

I started by making some edits, but after I began reading Wazeopedia, I became even more interested in learning and helping the community.
