Pleasant St in Natick

A portion of Pleasant St is incorrectly labeled as “Pleasant St S” in the Waze app (I was able to reproduce this). The name is correct (“Pleasant St”, no “S”) in both the map editor and Live Map. I believe the affected segment is one of these:

I’m not sure if this would cause the problem you’re seeing but here’s a segment with the wrong road type:

Yes, I noticed the difference in road type. Didn’t explain anything to me either. :?

I just checked all of Pleasant St in the client (zoomed in as close as possible and from a variety of different angles) and I couldn’t reproduce the problem. I never saw “Pleasant St S”, just “Pleasant St” so maybe someone already fixed it but the changes just hadn’t propagated to your phone.

However, I DO see “Lincoln St S” near there which should probably be changed to “S Lincoln St” based on the signs in street view. I don’t have editing rights there.

I fixed South Lincoln St - as I understand it, signs take precedence. (Although Natick calls it South Lincoln in its property database, MassDOT has it as “Lincoln St S”.)

I think I have the solution, finally. The problem was stale data in the app. Settings > Advanced > Data Transfer > Refresh map of my area, and “Pleasant St S” disappeared.
