Please post any bad routing to Walt Disney World places that you do not believe are from a spam point in google maps or in WME.
I would appreciate any bad routing any bad routing to any Disney places.
If they are routing improperly or poorly we need to fix these. Please verify in the app before posting here, or consult me about them.
Some of these Disney points are spam, so please search them out before assuming its a verified and claimed point. There are locked points on GMM that need to be removed.
Since we cannot fix disney points in google map maker (only google/disney can) we need to document these to get them resolved by Waze and Google staff.
Please post the words entered in search to get the location, the waze '“end this location” in your history by pressing the i next to the history entry. screenshots of the final destination are very much appreciated.
As of this post Disney’s Blizzard Beach, and Epcot have been set up to work properly with fake road segments.
Hollywood studios routes properly to both entrances as set up on the map currently. (please report any changes)
Search for Magic Kingdom from my location and this is the first reasonable quickmatch for Magic Kingdom. This is actually the Magic Kingdom Ferry Terminal, which is not the way guests would be using this ferry. IT should have at least - Ferry Terminal or something in its name in google to distinguish it from the Magic Kingdom place to allow users to know that this is not the correct point for magic kingdom navigation.
That is Park 1, a Cast only private road. This is BAD. Waze shouldn’t route to this location. The segments between Park 1 and the point is a BUS ONLY dropoff, which is properly restricted. Park 1 has a gate and is restricted to park VIP’s and Cast only.
Search for “Epcot” this is the first quickmatch result AFTER Epcot Parking - Amaze, Epcot Resorts blvd, and Epcot Parking - Create.
This has been hacked to work with\ a walking trail. I’d like to remove the walking trail and have waze take users to the parking booth. when users map the other walking trails, or mess with Ave of the Stars it messes with this locations navigation.
Search “Disney Springs” this is the second result in the quickmatch results.
This isn’t horrible, but the route should take you into the orange garage, which it currently does, but it also routes to the walking trail installed to catch the stores served by the orange garage. Google’s point should stop users at the Orange Garage, as that is where Disney is putting the main focus for parking here.
