I keep posting potholes on this road they keep being removed every night system update? can you please advise on the map for the whole road both sides that it has lots. Not happy :evil: one night going down this road and forgot about holes and went down one and split a tyre
They’re actually removed about 30 minutes after you post them, unless they’re reinforced by other users hitting the thanks button on the alert. They’re certainly never visible to map editors and we have no way of indicating that a road has potholes, speed humps or any other device to slow you down.
I’ve had a look along the road on Google Streetview (images from July 2017 so fairly recent) and the road certainly doesn’t justify being downgraded from a primary street. You’ll need to report the potholes to the local highways authority - Barking & Dagenham for most of it, but Havering are responsible for the eastern end - with whom you may have a claim for the cost of repairs if you can prove it occurred on their stretch of road. Otherwise, you’ll just have to remember to go at a speed where you can see the potholes to take avoiding action!
