Problem after update

Yesterday waze on my iphone told me it needed to update and told me to restart the app. After doing so I no longer see any map at all. How can I fix this?

Not sure what happened there, but Waze shouldn’t have told you it needed to update. As I’m sure you know, you have to go to the App Store to update apps on the iPhone. There hasn’t been any update to the app in a few weeks.

You can try going into Settings, Advanced, Data Transfer and click “Refresh Map of My Area”.

If that doesn’t work, you may need to uninstall and reinstall Waze.

Maybe the client did an infrastructure switch?

What country are you in schwartz10? Have you traveled to or near other countries recently?

I am in USA and have not been in another country. Refreshing data did not hel. Should I delete and reinstall?

First try to navigate to this: ##@usa

That will force you to the NA infrastructure just to rule that out. If it still doesn’t work, uninstall Waze, hard reboot your device, then reinstall.

My app is having exactly the same problem as described by Schwartz10. Very frustrating. I will be very interested to hear what the remedy is.

Waze was AWESOME until it quit working.

That’s not a link, it’s a Waze code… type “##@usa” (without the quotes) into where you enter addresses in the app…

I uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled, and that fixed it. Thx

I tried that but unfortunately it didn’t fix it for me. I am REALLY frustrated.

It’s wierd – the map is pretty much completely blank, unless I zoom WAY out, and then I see small bits of Canada and Mexico.

I didn’t realize how much I’d come to rely I Waze. If I can’t figure out how to fix this I’m going to miss it. :frowning:

A little slow for me today. Waze android application. Took a little longer to start navigation.

Waze is still completely unuseable for me. Map data is almost completely missing except for a few random scraps of unlabeled road. None of the remedies posted here have worked for me. Does anyone else have any other suggestions? Is there a number I can call?

I’m on an iPhone 4S. Waze version 3.2.2.0

Someone please help. I really, really miss Waze. :frowning:
