There was an announcement that there would be some new goodies. I was expecting something with a Christmas theme. What I saw on my iPhone were little black squares. I get points for them but they are definitely not as interesting as other goodies. I presume that the goody icons have not downloaded to my phone or something to that effect.
Maybe the graphic didn’t download right.

I am also seeing black squares… HTC Wildfire - Android v2.1-update1
I also see only black squares - looks like lumps of charcoal 
I too have lots of little black squares all over my map. Initially thought it was a graphics error, but so I have driven over a lot that are worth 2 pts, fewer that are worth 10pts and 1 that was worth 100.
I’ve flagged this up with Alpha and will post any updates as I get them.

I see the goodies now- but the Santa hats don’t work.
Should be OK now. Each of the Flakes, Cane or Santa hats should be clickable to show it’s value.
Additionally the Santa voice should be functioning as well.
thanks for the quick fix Fej! It’s also nice to notice that the bigger the point value for a goodie, the farther the zoom level at which it still can be seen.
20 minutes ago it didn’t work. Just drove twice over the same candy. Feel a bit screwed now…
I ran over a santa hat 6 times last night and did not get it. :evil:
Snow flakes, stick candy and Santa hat appear this morning same time with the map update.
Snow flakes point work, stick candy to far from my track and Santa hat still not going to Waze to check it, maybe tomorrow I will report

We managed to fix this problem.
You should be seeing now the goodies as they are and not as black squares.

About half the Santa hats are playing hard to get… One took three times driving over it. Two others did not register after driving 2-3 times over them. Other ones were collected just fine.
