Rochedale, BRISBANE L2 pls

Request for a very quick unlock of these two segments
https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=row&lon=153.10322&lat=-27.58166&layers=997&zoom=5&segments=147898532,147898531

A user has reported that routing was onto the busway and I’d like to remove the Busway road from the motorway on ramp.

Thank you.

Dropped.

Thank you Clem. error has been fixed. If you wouldn’t mind checking my work please and relocking levels?

Also, I don’t know if you know the area, but I believe this intersection should be allowed a u-turn
https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=row&lon=153.08780&lat=-27.57530&layers=485&zoom=8&segments=246598987

It has long ago been upgraded from a roundabout to a set of lights, two right turning lanes, u-turn legal from the far right lane. I think.
Unfortunately street view is from the stone ages so can’t verify just now.

Clem, please relock to L4.
Thanks

Locked.

U-turn enabled as well. I don’t drive through there to check it myself so let me know if I got it wrong.

Are u turns able to be enabled? When attempting to sort out a u turn at Norton Street/Logan Road, I was told that Waze management has made it a rule that u turns are not to be allowed (or something like that).

Is this not correct? I hope it is, because there are many edit points I can earn for correcting places where u turns are allowed

GG, It depends what you mean by this.
What they’re talking about is the little “u-turn” icon.
If you mean that, then NO, they are not allowed.
If you mean are you allowed to enable a u-turn by other means, then yes… but it depends a lot on the intersection and other routing options.

But basically, no.

GG, have a look here:
https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=row&lon=153.08776&lat=-27.57525&layers=389&zoom=8&segments=246598987

See how it is a bow-tie arrangement? And if you’re heading east along Padstow Rd, as far as Waze can tell, the hard right turn is allowed, which translates to a u-turn in real terms. This is what clem meant by “u-turn enabled”.

However if you look here https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=row&lon=153.08776&lat=-27.57525&layers=389&zoom=8&segments=246598990, notice the red u-turn option is turned off.

There was an issue with u-turns being enabled on dead end segments. I believe this has been resolved (the option no longer available) but best for a country manager to confirm this.
