Scoreboard points not same as from another user

In our house we have two clients.
Lets call them “user a” and “user b”.
the scoreboards on each phone them show the same as the world.waze.com login.
Same points. Same username (apart from case sensitive).
But when each looks at the profile of the other… points are VERY out.

htc Desire S - version 3.0.1.1
Login on phone - “user a” 19,612 points Waze Warrior (rank 1276)
log into waze.com 0 points. (fair enough - wrong server)
login to world.waze.com “user a” 19,612 points
Sees “user b” as having 3,836 points (12,612 rank) and not 29,993 as below

sgs2 - version 3.0.1.1
Login on phone - “user b” 29,993 points Waze Knight (rank 703)
login to world.waze.com “user b” 29,993 points
Sees “user a” as having 8,278 points (22772 rank) and not 19,612 as above

This has been the case for 4+ months. I often do 300+ miles in a day. Rarely under 60/day.
the daily points do increase.
Another issue for another post: I have tried, over 4+ months, on both phones, to add new roads. The roller appears and moves but next time I am in the area - no road. Done it 4 times now so given up.

Pay no attention to the points of any users in the app. It is incorrect, nearly always has been, and we’re not sure if Waze is going to fix it. They do know about it, though and have attempted a fix within the last month or two and it didn’t work.

Ah, thanks - I did try a search for the issue but did not find it.

It’s a great principle and exciting prospect but there is a lot of back-end fine tuning to be done!

You need to log in to the Waze Map Editor and adjust the road locations, connect them to other roads and name them properly. See the Map Editor link in my sig for the documentation start point.
