[Script] URComments-Enhanced (URC-E)

Please do NOT make changes to your local script in tampermonkey. This prevents future updates from being successful.

Until the fix is released by the script author, it doesn’t hurt to install the fork or modify the necessary lines in the script, as long as it fixes the problem. Once the fix is released, there will be info and we can manually update if the auto-update fails.

@EloheiYishi thank you

Why would you want to modify the script when the post above the “fix” is the announcement that the new version is released?

@dBsooner Just curious, is the pill count feature coming back? It’s the feature that I loooooveeeeeeee most in this script, saves me tons of time for not having to open each UR to see when I replied to it. Really hope to see it back in action soon!

Any chance the script could be updated to move the UR Panel to the right? The panel now covers buttons when FUME moves the zoom bar and map controls with the checkbox “Re-create zoom bar & move map controls”. Needs at least double the width from the left panel to the UR panel.

Toolbox allows you to move it. With that said, maybe FUME is the right place to add this?

No, This is a good place to start because this script also manipulates the panel, see a few posts above.

I say FUME because that’s the script moving those elements. We’re starting to get into scripts having to know what things other scripts are doing. Additionally, since this script is basically in a caretaker status and only getting updates for new WME releases, I think FUME makes more sense in this way as well.

The “fix” I posted is just a hint for a WME bug, which is currently still being worked on:
The user request obscures the city name - Map Editors Community / WME Production Bugs - Waze Discuss

@dBsooner Thank you, I am aware of the possibility and that any update will overwrite the fix. This could be prevented easily by adding the fix to the script, since the bug affects exactly the UR panel. I understand your reluctance, so I just do it manually. Hopefully the bug will be fixed soon and we won’t need this. I apologize for any inconvenience!

If FUME makes the change to the way objects are ordered and displayed, it should be it’s job to move also the other WME elements. Keep in mind that the UR panel is not generated by URC, but by WME itself. @turbomkt is right.

Hi, @dBsooner!

Any idea what WME changes caused the glitch again? I hope we can get back to normal soon. I wish I knew more about the scripting process and maybe more time to help.

Regards!

I just found a Conflict with the URC-E script and the WME Filter in the new Prod Release, when trying to get URs that have a comment and are over 5 days in the Script i have it for 5 days and before the update it used to hide everything with a comment under5 days. right now i have the same setting, but it doesnt hide by closing date that is 5 days, it just shows all the URs new and old, so this part of the filter and probably connection with the script is not working as desire like it was in the previous Pro Version. Thank you

Anyone experiencing URC-E randomly disappearing? I keep having to reinstall.

With the new version of WME, it barely works for me… does not open or close automatically anymore as well as closing an UR and other things.

I confirm, the script is effectively unusable.

All automatic actions are not working after last WME update (both beta & production)

hopefully they can look into this fast, as this is a very important script and is very helpful. :crossed_fingers:

URC-E and UR-MP are the 2 most important scripts for editors working on URs and PURs!

Hope this gets resolved soon - URC-E is a big part of my workflow when dealing with URs and I’m sure it is for a lot of other editors too.

Mine doesn’t work anyway.
