I just wanted to give my feedback on this script. I have used it for the past several days and it has been a major help. I am sure you have already considered this, but he only thing I would like to see (if possible) would be the ability to add Places to the list.
Thx, glad you like it. We are working on a new version with lots of good features including a submission form link.
Cheers

jm6087 - that will also depend on your region having a PNH list moderator. If you do, you should already have a link in your local wiki. If not, bug your RC about it ![]()

âA number of bug fixes.
âDefault title casing is weaker, so it will leave places like âHealthForumâ with the capital F. However, a banner option to force the Strong Title case will pop up which you can then press Yes to force âHealthforumâ to be set.
âFixed a few place details that were wrong.
âServices are back, for R3+ editors: Thereâs a preferences tab, where you can check the option to enable common services
âSome new features in the message banners, keep an eye out for them.
Thx. We are working on a more complete version that includes over 600 places, should have a big update in the near future. Suggestions, bugs, and feedback always welcome here or by PM/DM.
Thx!

Tab is displayed. But when selecting place and completing the Shift-Option(Alt)-A, changes are made but edit count does not advance. If I make another edit somewhere else, edit count reflects WMEPH changes as well.
I will take another look. When I tried it on FF earlier it seemed to be working but it was only a quick check. I will check what version of FF too. Thx

I canât replicate the problem. I tried on Mac with FF 42.0 and it seems to work normally, edit counts advance. Can I suggest the following:
complete uninstall and reinstall;
disable all other scripts to see if thereâs a conflict;
Check the console to see if there are any error messages.
Feel free to PM/DM and we can try to see whatâs happening.

It would be possible in some next version, make this beautiful script also works in international server, for use outside the United States ??
Thanks for your time!!

Yes for sure it can be adapted. Once we have a complete version working well with standard data formats we will look at the best way to get it working for other countries. If a country has a Place Harmonization sheet then that would be a big start for integrating it. At some point I will publish an info sheet that would say what is required for a country to get the script working. For now, patience. We donât want to make everyone keep jumping through different formats and requirements until it seems to work well.
Cheers/Saludos

Editors,
A beta version of WMEPH v1.0 will be available for testing in the coming weeks. We are looking for some editors who would like to test the new version of the script. It is a major update with many more places and features. Conditions to be a tester are to be a USA editor with lots of place editing experience (including your regionâs Place Harmonization sheet) to spot any inconsistencies with places standards. The beta version will run alongside the current script on a different shortcut so you can still use the old version in case of beta issues. If interested, please DM or PM bmtg, include an email to be added to the Google Hangout. Thx!

Great job on this script, BTW.

Still have to be an editor. The script canât assume everything. Though, ten digits is a lot⌠![]()
That will be fixed in the next release.
Not sure about the beta issue. Will look into it.

It would be very helpful if the auto-lock feature of this script had some more regional flexibility. A widely used locking convention is given here: Massachusetts wiki
We donât lock everything in Maine to 3 (or more) because of the lack of R3+ editors.
