[Script] WME UR-MP Tracking

I’d like to make a suggestion for the Map Comments potions (MC) like in the UR side of the filter there is a checkbox “Hide without comments from me” Would really like to see this added into MC’s, we have almost 700 and would really just like to review the ones that I have entered or commented on. I hope this has not already been put in here, I tried to look for something similar.

This script slows down panning, zooming and opening user reports noticeably on my computer. Apart from that it is a handy tool.

Hi,

since the last updates to WME the MC tab seems to be too wide for the sidebar. At the moment I cannot click the crosshair button. All the other tabs work fine.

Regards,
flo

Hi Flo,

Go to the settings tab and change the MC Column Width.

…that was easy.

Strange problem. I am using WME UR-MP Tracking latest version 3.8.6 and if I scan New Jersey I will get also results for Staten Island - tested wkt file for NJ and seems to be correct (Staten Island is not selected).
Any ideas?

Are you seeing PUR or UR or MP from NY? I did an NJ scan, but there are so many in the results I can’t tell where they all are.

Do you have the auto-scan option checked? I found I had to toggle that off a while back because it impacted performance for me. Distances is worth turning off if you don’t care about it updating. Each move triggers the distances to be recalculated. Not hard math, but if you have several hundred URs/PURs/MPs/MCs, it can start to take a toll. I also only search for one thing at a time, and clear out all the others.

Tested with URs only - I zoom in to Staten Island and scan for NJ - then sort for “new URs” and see 0 miles distance.

Maybe wkt file for NJ is to complicated for WME UR-MP Tracking and Staten Island is included in scan?
If I scan county by county I do not see any URs OOMA.

With Auto-scan OFF and Distances OFF, I’m seeing what appears to be some odd behavior by UR-MP tracker.

This entire sequence happened when I selected 1 UR from the list within UR-MP. There was a noticeable delay as each line appeared, so I’m assuming there was some amount of processing happening at the same time. List size is 58 URs, 676 hidden. I do clear all the tables before running a scan.

Filters:

  • Hide with more than 0 Comments
  • Hide Closed
  • Limit to 100

I have no other scripts or extensions running.

Hello,

I use the v3.8.6 version, I made “clear” on all the lists

The script list URs that are outside of my edit zone.

Repeating a feature request that got no response before but has raised its head again with the Falcon Mapraid.

I love that we can select to scan a specific state, but can we please get the ability to scan only our editable area within a state? With the map raid, I have massive EA that is outside of my normal EA in a state other than my Mapraid area that I need to keep track of even while the raid is happening. As it is, I can either scan editable area and get a flood or UR/PUR/MP that are just so much flotsam, or I can scan a state and get pretty much the same.

You can create a WKT file of your EA and save that in WME UR-MP Tracking to scan that specific area.

How do you create a WKT of your EA obtained by driving? It is no problem for my managed area, but that is very small compared to my driving area.

Sorry. You didn’t mention driving in your previous post so I misunderstood.

You can create a WKT of your driving EA, but you may need to adjust it monthly or so.

Turn on “Editable Areas” in WME. I would disable all scripts except MP-UR and turn off all the other layers because my laptop is a bit under-powered.

Zoom out as far as needed

Create an area place covering your highlighted EA.

In MP-UR, select Add Custom Area –> from unsaved POI area + give it a name

Given there hasn’t been any updates to the script in over a year, despite numerous suggestions/bugfixes having been posted in this time, is it safe to assume it’s now been abandoned entirely? Or did someone else take over development from dummyd2?

Indeed, it’s been more than two years since I took over the script, on the other hand I only provide maintenance … Just a question, why update, if the script still works the same as D2 thought it would?

Because there are script breaking issues with the code currently.

I agree with you, this is a good reason. Since I edit only to debug my scripts, I didn’t see that it didn’t work like it originally…

I try to hake a look tomorrow
