for some reason it got turned off. It’s no on again.
This plugin will only work if the country have not enabled the speed on roundabouts.

Give an example plz.

Has the “Normalize Roads” option stop working for anyone else, out of curiosity? I’ve had a few instances where it hasn’t recognized a few.

Hi, I’m returning to map editing after some time away, and trying to get up to speed.
I was using an addon called WME Validator, but it appears the dev has ceased work on it, and instead recommends WME Magic.
One of the primary reasons I used Validator is because it allowed me to define regexes to highlight roads that needed attention. Myself and another editor were working on (and using) some long regexes to validate road names according to the requirements of our country.
Does this script support custom regexes for highlighting roads?
Thank you.
Not yet, only basic search, using the search field.

The “RPP with no entry/exit point” actually marks an RPP located near a segment, which name doesn’t match the street name in the RPP address. I like that if a street name of segments was changed, all RPPs having the old name are marked (well, only those that don’t have entry/exit points).
I wish there would be similar validation for public places - mark a place located near a segment, which name doesn’t match the street name in the place’s address.
Give an example plz.
A simple case: A street’s name has been changed, and we need to change it in addresses of all places located on the street. Currently I look for such places in Select Place table of WME Toolbox, but the work would be much easier, if the places were marked.
What i think Magic can do at this moment is to detect if the street from the landmark is one of the roads nearby.
Is this what you need?
Exactly
Exactly

it works as expected, might not be what you need ![]()
This first approach calculates the distance based on the centroid…
I don’t see logic in how the new check marks landmarks. A landmark with an obsolete street name isn’t marked, but many landmarks located near a segment with the right street name are marked (and the marking appears or disappears when I move or zoom the map). My examples probably will not help you, as all street names are on Hebrew.

They will, they will. Share some permalinks.
This place has an obsolete street name “הדקל”, but isn’t marked (the street was renamed to “דקל”).
All points along these segments are marked, but they have the same street name as the segments.

Fixed, thanks.
Indeed, the place with the obsolete name is marked now. However, I still see a lot of marked places with the right street name.

It’s a zoom problem. WME don’t give the streets info on zoom > 6. ![]()
I’ll fix that when i reach a computer.
Bug:
Here WMEMagic reports an unneeded junction. However there is a TTS override on that node, so deleting it destroys that too. Also, WME lets you do it without any warning.

I still see all places along these segments marked in Magic 1.0.91.

Can’t replicate ![]()
