Some issues in West L.A.... and Bay area

Greetings!

Visiting editor from Hawaii, trying to pitch in with your (amazing) workload. Wow, L.A. is the perfect storm of a REALLY complex web of roads, plus LOTS of people with experience driving them. It’s the pride of SoCal to know which is the best route, right? Wazers here really want to let you know.

And just to add: I’m editing this post to say that I’ll be doing a red-UR query in the little bit of San Francisco, the next stop on my trip. I’ll PM the area managers I encounter there, too.

Anyway, as I mentioned earlier, I am mainly weeding through the red URs with no comments, inviting the reporter to follow up with details. Most of these will be closed with none in a week, but I am getting some replies and some issues requiring wheels on the ground (I’m back in Hawaii) to check.

Here’s a running list that I hope you experts will check. I’ll update it with follow-up and new issues.

Need to find the point at which a barrier separates this ramp from the 405 South, near Inglewood. Apparently Waze puts people on it when they can’t get there. The UR is here:

The ramp seems to track back to this connection point here, but the barrier may already be there?
https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lon=-118.36764&lat=33.95214&layers=933&zoom=5&segments=4832134

I’ve changed the type of this segment to Ramp, in response to URs about this new entrance to the 405 from Sawtelle:

https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lon=-118.40963&lat=34.00091&layers=933&zoom=6&segments=62311054

Multiple URs indicate that the onramp to 90E from Sepulveda is no longer here, near Westfield Shopping Center:
https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=6&lat=33.98608&lon=-118.39509&mapUpdateRequest=3389745&env=usa&layers=389

I set a timed turn restriction from Centinela into Walsh based on the sign visible in Street View (the related UR is to the northeast, on Culver:
https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=6&lat=33.9913&lon=-118.42057&mapUpdateRequest=3506112&env=usa&layers=933&segments=4492612

Based on this UR and the look of Street View at the exit from La Cienaga to W Slauson, maybe the left turn should be restricted and that only a right turn from the ramp to W Slauson should be permitted:
https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=7&lat=33.98769&lon=-118.36942&mapUpdateRequest=3389745&env=usa&layers=389

In the same area: Does anyone know when the restricted hours are for the (marked) left turn from W Slauson to La Cienaga southbound? I can see there’s a restriction posted but can’t read the hours:
https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=7&lat=33.98753&lon=-118.37059&mapUpdateRequest=3389745&env=usa&layers=389&segments=4605799

This complaint is about a difficult left turn from Kew St into S La Cienaga (top link is the UR; bottom link is the location itself).
https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=7&lat=33.9655&lon=-118.36989&env=usa&layers=389
https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=7&lat=33.97099&lon=-118.36981&env=usa&layers=389

This person raises the issue of turning left from Culver to the Marina Expy, but I’m not sure there’s much to be done about it. Just FYI:
https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=8&lat=33.98206&lon=-118.42855&mapUpdateRequest=3506112&env=usa&layers=933&segments=75341717

This post was looking lonely! Just thought I’d say something here, so that anyone browsing knows that there are several of us SoCal editors checking into these issues, and we’re in communication with Machete808.
