Kindly update Q. Ranian St. and this segment on both sides https://www.waze.com/ar/livemap?zoom=17&lat=32.03307&lon=35.86338
to 70Kmph

That link opens live map without segment selection. Please create permalink from map editor, selecting the segments you are referring to. This is how you can make permalink:

Thanks a lot,
here it is https://www.waze.com/ar/editor?env=row&lon=35.86624&lat=32.03353&s=70491415&zoom=4&segments=317278667,317278669,281889587,347496779,347496780,342147968,347496571,347496572

forgive me I’m still a newbie

Thank you, I have updated the selected segments with 70km/h. You also mentioned “Queen Rania street”. Can you please also send me permalinks to know which part of this street is 70km/h? Also, if you check this, you will see that in Waze, this street is called “Al Jama’a St.” but when I checked Google Maps, it is called “Queen Rania st.”. But Google many times do not have the correct information, so are you 100% sure the street name is “Queen Rania st.”?

By the way, why did you create speed camera here with speed 112 km/h if you say there is 70 on this road? I guess you have miles (Imperial) set in your WME settings, please change them to km/h -> Metric (https://wiki.waze.com/wiki/Waze_Map_Editor#Settings)

Is it a real speed cam ?

Thanks,
Shmupi

this is the whole segment that needs speed adjustment, plus the other side of course

regarding the name, it’s officially Queen Rania St., Al jama’a St. (the university st.) is the old and popular name

As for the speeding cam, it’s 70 KmpH there, I maybe had the settings in a mile then, so please correct it. I’m sorry.

and kindly correct it’s location, it should be here https://www.waze.com/editor?env=row&lon=35.86385&lat=32.03334&s=641703255&zoom=7&nodes=275781171

next the gas station

I have changed the speed to 70kph.

Following on from Shumpi’s comment, over the past couple of months many Waze users in Amman were reporting fixed speed cameras which were actually CCTV security cameras. Please see this thread for more details. I know that since the start of the year the authorities have installed many new fixed speed cameras (and I have a 10JD fine to prove it!)
