I have recently started noticing something that really gets on my nerves. Besides the current speed limit, which is displayed in the upper right corner of the screen, now the speed limit of some particular road segments appears also on the actual map. I hate this.
There is a setting that seems to refer to this new ‘feature’, but it doesn’t work. I’ve disabled it, but it doesn’t seem to have any effect. Please see the attached screenshots:
Am I doing anything wrong? Is this not the correct setting for it? Maybe I should disable something else?
Or is it a bug?

If I remember correctly that’s it the feature alerting you when on your road you are approaching a speed limit reduction …and the new speed limit appears on the segment where speed reduction will start
Indeed, that’s how the option in the Reports menu is called, ‘speed limit changes’. Makes sense.
But why do I keep seeing them on the map despite having turned off that option?
Should I try to report it as a bug, or am I doing someting wrong?
You can disable the alert, but you can’t disable showing them (as other reports have: “Show on map” yes/no).
You can try to make a suggestion for Waze to implement it.
