Hi,
I live in Foster City, CA, which is essentially an island. We have several bridges for access by car.

Right by our town is a major bridge, and I feel that at rush hour a lot of drivers are trying to cut through Foster City (a couple of my friends do that using Waze).

Is there a way for me to get data of how many Waze drivers per day are routed/coming through Foster City using Waze? I would like to use this information in communication with our city government.

Thank you!
Sergey

As far as I know Waze does not provide traffic count data to the public. Local municipal agencies can enter into a cooperative agreement with Waze and get more data.

However, you can use the Waze Live Map to route from various points to see the ‘preferred’ route that Waze is offering. Remember, that if a route is legal, Waze will likely consider it as a potential route to save time; regardless if it is freeway, highway, or local street.

Good luck,
