Uns wurde die angefragte Location bestätigt.
Wir können nun offiziell mit den Anmeldungen zum 6. Süddeutschland-Treffen bzw. Waze Café starten.

Genießt mit uns einen Café oder Tee mit Kuchen und anschließendem Abendessen à la kleine carte in gemütlicher Editoren-Runde.
Während der gesamten Veranstaltung steht uns ein Nebenraum mit Leinwand, inklusive Internetanschluss (WLAN) zur Verfügung. Für einen Projektor wird gesorgt. Präsentationen sind gerne erwünscht und können uns jederzeit per PM ans Orga-Team mitgeteilt werden.

Die Verpflegungskosten werden vollständig von Waze übernommen. Für jeden Teilnehmer stehen uns insgesamt max. 50€ für örtliche Verpflegungskosten zur Verfügung (Speisen und Getränke), sowie max. 50€ für die anfallenden Anfahrtskosten (Auto, Zug, etc…).
Verbleibende Mittel können nicht für die Verpflegungskosten oder anders herum verwendet werden!

Für das aktuelle Waze Café liegt die Anmeldegrenze bei ca. 14 bis 15 Editoren.
Sollten die aktuellen Anmeldezahlen unsere Anmeldegrenze übersteigen, folgt eine Auslosung unter allen Anmeldungen.
Anmeldeschluss ist Sonntag der 26.05.2024.

Endspurt - Genügend Plätze noch verfügbar - Schnell noch anmelden!
In gut einer Woche ist Anmeldeschluss.

Wir eröffnen hiermit die Anmeldungen auch auf bundesweiter Ebene. Hiermit können sich alle Editoren, unabhängig vom Bundesland für das Waze Café anmelden.

Alle wichtigen Daten, inklusive zur Agenda findet ihr im Beitrag darunter.

Weitere Informationen zum Reimbursement
Staff erstattet bei den Anfahrtskosten (Auto, Zug, etc…) maximal 50 $ (!).
Dies entspricht nach dem aktuellen Wechselkurs (Stand: 18.05.2024) ca. 45,89€.
Wir empfehlen euch alle Belege aufzubewahren und später gesammelt (gemäß der Anleitung im Video) an Staff abzuschicken.
Dies gilt auch wenn ein höherer Betrag auf dem Beleg angegeben ist. Hierzu wird der maximale Erstattungsbetrag (in Höhe von 50$ bzw. 45,89€) von Staff zurückerstattet.

:loudspeaker: Start der Planungen für das 7. Süddeutschland-Treffen
Wir starten noch in diesem Jahr mit den Planungen für das nächste Süddeutschland-Treffen! :tada:
Gemäß des Meetup-Kalenders haben wir uns für das Café im Februar / März entschieden, als Start vor dem DACH Local Meetup (Juni) und EMEA Mega Meetup (September). :date:
Der Zeitpunkt für neue und ältere Editoren sich in geselliger Runde zu treffen und auszutauschen!
Speziell für neue Editoren, die noch an keinem Meetup (DACH oder EMEA) teilgenommen haben und in einer kleineren Gruppe starten möchten.

:round_pushpin: Geplante Location: Bamberg / Erlangen (Restaurant mit Nebenraum und Technikzugang)

Um einen ersten Anhaltspunkt zur Teilnehmendenzahl zu erhalten, bitten wir um eine kurze Abstimmung, welches Datum für euch passen würde.

:loudspeaker: The 8th (exclusive) South Germany Meetup is set and already confirmed — registration starts soon!

Unbelievable but true! The 8th South Germany Meetup is already fully planned, confirmed, and will even take place this year. For the first time as an exclusive Waze Café, with a special location and together with Waze Partners.

:date: All the important details:
Date: Saturday, October 11, 2025, 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Location: Traffic Management Center of Autobahn GmbH (Southwest Branch)
For security reasons, more specific details will only be provided upon successful registration confirmation.

Get an exciting insight and a presentation of the Stuttgart Traffic Management Center, as well as current topics and projects from Autobahn GmbH (Southwest Branch).
In between, there will be light catering, including coffee and cake. And of course, community time, with opportunities for networking, presentations, questions, and much more…
Rounded off with a group dinner nearby.
For security reasons, the detailed agenda will only be provided upon successful registration confirmation.

:desktop_computer: The premises, including technical equipment, will be provided by Autobahn GmbH. Presentations are very welcome and can be communicated to the organizing team at any time via PM.

:euro_banknote: Catering costs will be fully covered by Waze.
Up to €50 each for local catering costs (food and drinks), as well as up to €50 for travel expenses (car, train, etc.).
Remaining funds cannot be used for catering or vice versa.

Once registration opens, the principle applies: “first come, first served”

Time for the 9th South Germany Meetup - Official registration is now open!
We have done some planning behind the scenes and decided on a location. Staff confirmation is currently still pending.
Nevertheless, we are already officially starting registrations for the 9th South Germany Meetup.

Join us for coffee or tea with cake, followed by an à la carte dinner in a cozy circle of editors. A side room, including internet access (Wi-Fi), will be available to us throughout the event. A projector and, if needed, a screen will be / are being organized. Presentations are very welcome and can be shared with the organizing team via PM at any time.

Catering costs will be completely covered by Waze. For each participant, a total of max. €50 is available for local catering costs (food and drinks), as well as max. €50 for travel costs (car, train, etc.). Remaining funds from one category cannot be used for the other.

For this Waze Café, the registration limit is 15 editors. Should the number of registrations exceed our limit, a random drawing will be held among all applicants. Registration deadline is Sunday, April 12, 2026.
