I’ve entered time restrictions for the Special Event Road Closures that will occur on 1/2/14 for the Sydney Morning Herald Sun Run between Dee Why and Manly.
I don’t know if anything else needs to be done.

In future, please ensure you submit special event road closures through this forum:

Fill out the form, and the Waze will take care of the rest.
However, as this event takes place this weekend, there may be not enough time for Waze to load it into the system and close the appropriate roads. I would prefer at least 2 weeks notice to give them a chance.
Depending on the event and the number of road closures required, may need more lead time planning. ie: For the Australia Day Celebrations in Perth, we had 1 month planning to set it all up.
In this case, probably best to monitor and close the road on Sunday via the app on your phone.
