Time restriction

Hello,

For the first time, I see that it is possible to restrict turns on some period of time.
I have 2 questions related to this :

• Is it already implemented in the GPS client on our mobile phones ?
• On the example, I restricted turns on week-ends for Bois de la Cambre in Brussels : https://www.waze.com/editor/?lon=4.37271&lat=50.80915&zoom=5&layers=TBFTFFTTTTFTTTTTTTTTTTTTT&segments=194043189&env=row . Is it possible to add special days like Jan 1st, November 1st, … but for every year ? (I only saw this possibilty per year, like 2014).

• It’s already functional in the client, so the routing works with it.
• i don’t think it’s possible to add restrictions based on annual dates (yet?)…

Thank you Steven. More precisely, what we need is the possibility to select non-working days. These are basically week-ends (already possible) and bank holidays. For the last, I did not find any trick, even in the related wiki chapter. But maybe there is one …

It looks like there is something to try, but not sure if it’s still working:
Time-of-year and holiday turn restrictions
Some restrictions may only be in place during certain times of year. If on a specific date and time, set the appropriate combination.
Some restrictions may follow moving holidays. For example, a turn that is not allowed on Labor Day (US: the first Monday in September), check only the box next to “Mon” and enter “01/09/2013” (September 1st; dates are in DD/MM/YYYY format) and “07/09/20xx”. Clever, right?

So thinking about this instruction, you could select all days, and keep the data range on 1 certain date, by setting the second one on 01/09/20 xx in the example. That way you would have every 1st of September…

They have to tweak this function, but it’s a good start. I’ve already fixed the weekly market in Herentals for a small part and the shopping street in Lier. Works fine for me for now.

Maybe we can add the train hours when the overlay is closed (don’t do it hé, they’re never on schedule)

Mmhhh … I don’t get it but it is probably me.
Would you write in details how to restrict turns on January 1st only but this every year from 2014 to 2099 for example.

ok, it doesn’t work for a certain date like 1 january… but it works for “every first monday of september”, or 'every secund thursday of november", …

Yep. That’s what I thought.
Let’s hope they implement a function for bank holidays or so.
