long time lurker, first time caller
My mother just ran into an issue that I couldn’t resolve so I’m hoping someone can help. She lives near Fort Payne, Al and often travels to Chattanooga, Tn, which crosses a time zone.
She normally uses Apple Maps but wanted to switch to Waze. So here is the issue, in Apple Maps when she mapped the route from her home to Chattanooga and wanted to arrive at 1pm EST it told her to leave at 11am CST, which with the 1 hour drive time would put her in Chattanooga at 12pm CST, or 1pm EST, which is perfect. When using Waze it told her to leave at 12 CST, which would have her get to Chattanooga at 1pm CST, or 2pm EST, hence the problem.
I had her triple check everything, because I am not there to help, and it kept doing the same thing. Interesting enough when she used Google Maps it had her leaving at 11am CST, which is the correct time.
So my time for my question, is this a setting issue and she just needs to change a setting that I haven’t found yet or is it an actual issue? Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
