Troublesome Segment

Hi chaps,

I think this one has been mentioned in the forum before but I need to get back to work so don’t have time to find it.

I cannot get a Livemap route through this segment, two alternative routes go through some quite awkward routes to avoid this one segment. I cannot see a problem with elevations, connections, restrictions, types, speeds data.

Can anyone see something that I cannot? Or should we just re-create the segment to see if it’s something hidden in the database?

My test route was from: Sugar Road North, Maroochydore, Australia to Sippy Downs Dr, , Australia in the Live Map.

The most recent edit was November 17 by Pete but there has been 2 tile updates since then.

Waze may be having trouble routing as it thinks it is still the same road so ignores the exit/entry to the other part of the Sunshine Motorway.

Humour me and try changing this segments name from SR70 - Sunshine Mtwy to SR6 - Nicklin Way as I suggested previously. :stuck_out_tongue:

Otherwise another suggestion is to add a short unnamed ramp section here before the exit.

I elected to change it to ‘No Name’ rather than extending Nicklin Way. I’ll check again after the tile update and provide an update here accordingly.

Just gave this a test and it appears to work now :smiley:

Thanks glomp, just checked myself and looks to be sorted. Definitely one we’ll have to be careful of for intersections like these.
