Please unlock both sides of pelham pkwy. I need to attach a parking lot road and landmark area.

Is there another way to unlock a road other than posting here and waiting days on end to resolve an issue? I understand the need for locking but it is very frustrating at times.
You could PM the last editor, but that may take even longer. For now, in general, no, there is no other way.
I’ll unlock the road after you read the guidelines on creating parking lots in the Waze wiki documentation. AND, no road should ever be red after you edit it. That’s also in the documentation.

Ah, so close! Why are the roads still red?
At least if the road is red, then someone else knows that it needs work. If it is white, perhaps even with a street name, then it may look correct. But Waze may not view it as navigable.
Unlocked. You should remove the extra junctions in the parking lot roads too, while you’re there turning them not red.

The parking lot is no good. You cannot loop a segment onto itself. That lot/road should be three segments: road in/out and two segments for the lot rectangle itself. Right now, there is only one way out and that is to go around the lot clockwise.

I created the third segment for you. You still had a single segment for the entire lot. A segment should never loop back on itself. The editor should be programmed to disallow it, but somethings we still have to remember to do manually.
