Deleted a couple.
Normally if a segment is not locked, and within your editable area, you should be able to delete it.
There have been some cases where the last editor had a higher rank, and there were problems deleting segments. A geometry adjustment should be enough to become the last editor, and this should give you rights to delete it (if the segment is in your editable area).
