yes, seems all the updates starting with 1.4.3.4 started to freeze and i can’t find my previous version, i wish i could get it back… i like the functionality but i see no one in tech support answers these posts and so its pointless to add a problem here… i have been using googles navigation in google maps

this really sucks, i wish they would let us download earlier versions that actually worked
or fix the dang thing, i like the alerts and police traps…
if it didn’t crash my g1 everytime i opened it, i would pay for it… but i guess the makers don’t care .
what we can do is post reviews of it and ratings in the android market if enough of us with problems post them, they will either have to fix it or no one will want to try the app anymore.
Waze seems to occasionally stop tracking my vehicle. It’s happened twice so far. Once while I was recording a road and once while I was munching. The car icon gets replaced with the green triangle with the circle around it (not sure what that means) and stops moving. Waze doesn’t hang or crash. It just stops tracking the position.
So far I exit Waze normally and restart waze and it’s fixed.
Thanks for the explanation of the green triangle. My GPS icon remains green but the tracking is lost. It doesn’t seem to recover the tracking. I have to exit Waze and restart to get it tracking again.
I only realised now that you can get info on the GPS status by clicking the GPS icon. I saw it on my friends Nokia. I can’t click on the GPS icon on the Tattoo because the icons overlap. Overlapping icons is a different issue though.
