Dear Waze Map Editors,

I have just drawn a missing path in Maldegem via the editor: Het Geuzenpad.

This is an official address, but its absence is causing significant and ongoing delivery issues (newspapers, packages, etc.). New delivery drivers are unable to find the location.

Key verification points:

  1. Official Status: The municipality of Maldegem confirms that ‘Het Geuzenpad’ has been officially registered since April 23, 2015, in the Flemish Building and Address Registers (GIPOD/CRAB).
  2. Confusion: The proximity of the street ‘De Geuzen’ causes extra confusion for couriers, who often do not make the effort to search further if ‘Het Geuzenpad’ does not appear.
  3. Current Findability: The address cannot be found in Waze, although it is correctly listed on, for example, the mapping service Mappy. Mappy Plan: Wegenkaarten en plaatsen in België. This indicates a structural data transmission problem that we cannot resolve ourselves.

I am requesting the prompt validation and publication of this path. How long does it usually take for this change to go live in the app, given its official status?

The segment and house numbers are ready for a map update. Such updates usually go live after 2 days. Occasionally (due to server maintenance), it may take longer.
