Hey Wazers,

When a crisis hits, every second counts. As a Waze Map Editor, you have the unique power to guide drivers out of harm’s way and directly toward safety.

We are excited to announce the launch of the new Waze Crisis Response Course

This course will show you how to leverage critical Waze tools for your local community when they need it most. Watch the video closely, take the assessment - and you’re done!

What You’ll Learn:

  • The Big Three: Manage Road Closures, send official Evacuation Zones and Crisis app alerts requests, and map Shelters and Donation Centers.

  • Navigating to Help: How to add emergency shelters so drivers searching for “help” or “shelter” in their local language can instantly navigate to safety.

Once you’ve completed the training, you will have the opportunity to take the Crisis Response Assessment. Pass the assessment, and you’ll get your official badge!
