Hi All,
We are happy to share the following update regarding the Wazeopedia project:
We are currently onboarding a dedicated vendor who will work on the project along with Waze’s developers!
What will happen now?
 FIRST PHASE: Upgrading the infrastructure
Estimated Timeline: End of December 2019
We are upgrading Wazeopedia’s infrastructure so it will perform much faster. After the transition we should be able to enjoy a smoother update and bug fixing process which will also allow for faster development iterations and far less stability issues.
During this infrastructure upgrade we will handle all the open bugs.
 SECOND PHASE: Ongoing maintenance
After the new infrastructure is launched, we will release an update every month to continue maintenance, fix bugs that were raised by the community and develop additional features.
As we go along we can plan and prioritize requests to make sure no backlogs are formed. The community will know what’s planned for each cycle.
After the first step, we’ll hold a webinar with the vendor’s development team to discuss additional features and prioritize along with the community. Based on that we’ll decide how to move forward.
We are very excited and we’ll keep you posted on progress!
Feel free to raise any issue or questions you might have.
All the best,
Shira on behalf of the Communities team
