# Weird Waze-provided route

Can anyone come up with a reason why Waze would have sent a driver from Spring Valley Road going north, down Maitland to make a U-turn, and then back onto Spring Valley Road headed north: [https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=3&lat=40.96405&lon=-74.07241&env=usa&layers=TBFTFFTTTTTTTFTTTTTTTTTTT&landmarks=593082](https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=3&lat=40.96405&lon=-74.07241&env=usa&layers=TBFTFFTTTTTTTFTTTTTTTTTTT&landmarks=593082)?

Dead end enabled on that road that could cause the issue. I restricted. Although, live map didn’t give me any issues.
