Wellesley, MA

I was hoping someone with a fresh set of eyes could take a klook at this problem. You can’t quite see it in the screen shot, but the wazer was traveling eastbound on worcester rd.

It looks like you can take a left from worcester rd eastbound into the driveway loop from this segment:
https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=7&lat=42.3167&lon=-71.23831&layers=BFTFFTTTTFTTFTTTTTTTTTTFT&segments=65388896

I’m not sure what the best way to deal with this is (new segment, one-way to two-way conversion, idk). Any input into the problem would be greatly appreciated.

Also, there is no house number for the building, should we add it?

Sincerely,

Supernovareborn

I would add the house number, but as house numbers aren’t yet used for routing, that won’t solve the problem yet. I can’t get waze to tell me where “Harvard Pilgrim Health Care,” but I’m awfully far away. Bing has the location way off. So I’m wondering whether, the user is routing to the POI rather than the street address and whether waze is simply trying to turn the user the around to get a location similar to where Bing has the pin. It’s likely worthwhile to try to update the POI location in Bing as well.

Agreed.

I’d say bing is a bit off, lol. I will submit a update request to the various parties (Bing, teleatlas, navteq, etc…)

Do you have a take on how to best fix the left turn from: https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=7&lat=42.3167&lon=-71.23831&layers=BFTFFTTTTFTTFTTTTTTTTTTFT&segments=65388896 to here https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=7&lat=42.3167&lon=-71.23832&layers=BFTFFTTTTFTTFTTTTTTTTTFTT&segments=73320134 there appears to be a turn lane with well worn pavement markings.
