I am currently using Samsung Galaxy S Duos.
I have also tried using Waze with Samsung Galaxy Y, Sony (sorry I forgot the model), and iPad 2.
Few comments:
Samsung devices’ GPS is really bad. It takes (on average based on my observation) around 10-15minutes before it locks/locates my position. There are also times I have already reached my destination yet my phone still haven’t locked the GPS
With the Sony smartphone I used, the GPS works very well, and it locks instantly.
With my iPad 2, since it was only a Wi-Fi device (no data), it has no built-in GPS (it can only give approx location based on wifi signals around me).
Most of the time, I used iPad3 to navigate. Sometimes I use Blackberry but there’s no new version for BB anymore and GUI is ugly. ![]()
I use:
Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-i9505)
iPhone 4S
Google Nexus 7
I think no doubt a newer phone (normally) is better, and since I am very happy with my S4, I would say definitely the Samsung Galaxy S4!
