The reason you cannot report police and other things from home is for the simple reason that any system that allows people to easily add things has the risk of being abused, so it was never implemented. I can fully understand why they did not, as I do not want to be driving down a road and r=hear “beep, beep, beep, beep” every 30 seconds because someone thought it was “funny” to add police everywhere
