My spouse and I love watching our favorite basketball team, the Dallas Mavericks. We have had season tickets for over 20 years and love seeing them at The American Airlines Center. We are very proud of this venue. We have noticed a couple of changes this year though that we wish would go back to the way it was. We ordered 2 chicken strip dinners which included very tasty french fries along with 2 cokes which cost us $38. The chicken strips are not near as good as last year in our opinion plus now when ordering, they flip the computer screen around for you to sign allowing you to tip unlike before. This makes us feel uncomfortable as we are not use to tipping unless it is in a restaurant setting where they have the ability to at least offer table service. We are excellent tippers normally as I once waited tables. The computer asks one to select the percentage of tip to give just like in a restaurant when all they do is hand you the food. We have notice the AA Center has joined most other venues now asking for tips. I guess this is what the future holds. Otherwise, we love everything else about the American Airlines Center and watching our Mavericks play!
