Despite having paid for 2 rooms and getting an email confirmation from booking.com, when my guests were trying to check in, the front desk told my guests that they didn’t have the reservation. Also, that the place was fully-booked.
2 days prior to this day, I called in the hotel, sent them the email confirmation, and was told that they’d call me the next day IF they couldn’t find my reservation.
When Christine or anyone from Nomad didn’t call the next day, I figured that they have the reservation in order.
However, that was not the case. Upon arriving, the front desk who was cold, arrogant, abrupt and unapologetic, turned my guests away. Told them that I have been refunded. I have not.
A very nice hotel is judged based not on how visually appealing it is but by the excellent service rendered by its staff. And sadly, Nomad Bangsar is staffed with arrogant, rude, uncaring front office staff.
