Today is my Anniversary and my husband stopped by to get cake for me because I'm disabled and I'm not able to go out to dinner tonight, too much pain today. So he brings me a big cupcake that looks like a hostess cupcake with the swirl across the top. It looked good but when I broke it open it was dry, really dry. There was no cream inside, oh wait, there's a tiny white dot in the center toward the top of the cake. I broke more off. There's the.... Cream? Nope. Wasn't cream. Was frosting, the same sugar filled frosting that they used to put those white swirls on the top. Not the fluffy, smooth baker's cream that should be inside and It wasn't filled with it with, there was maybe a marble sized blob. Very disappointing especially for an "upscale" market.
