Tel Aviv Marathon
Inaugurated in 1981, the Tel Aviv Marathon was held annually until 1994 and revived again in 2009. It is one of the biggest sporting events in Israel, and the country's largest marathon. More than 30,000 runners are expected to take part in this year's race that offers several courses, including a half marathon, 10k, 5k, and a mini marathon for kids. The event will also include 42k handcycle race for people with special needs. The Waze map has been updated with significant road closures related to this event.
