I have tried changing all of the audio related options in Waze with no improvement. A search in the forums for "audio" rendered nothing of use to me. Check 3-way mute button at the top of the Main Menu. That fixed it. Thanks. However, that button must be fairly new. I do not recall seeing...

So far we've detected that waze doesn't return contact results on iOS that's lower than 6 and returns results partially on iOS 6.0.1 and up. When you touch the [Report] button, Waze will remember your position and can finish the reporting process later. I do not know if that is possible without a cell signal when you want to report a problem.
