Re: Is there any way to stop the back-road routing?
The issue with single-lane roads going through fields being suggested is mainly something that depends on a community's mapping rules. Up until 2018 there was no real solution for these, as an editor could only use the "Street" type which means public road with no restrictions, so basical...

Is there any way to stop the back-road routing?
Hey all! Let me start off by saying that I've been a long-time user and lover of Waze, having driven many tens of thousands of miles using it and it's rarely let me down. I love that the maps are always up-to-date and that any reported issues are fixed within a matter of days by all of you hard-work...

[L4] Manchester - Allow right turn from Piccadilly onto Lena St
Reason for request: Turning right onto Lena Street is allowed from Piccadilly. This is reflected correctly on Google Maps. Taking directions to the Dale Street CitiPark takes you down the confusing bus-gate A6 road layout - allowing this right turn would send drivers this way instead, which is mu...

Re: Multiple types of roundabout icon?
This is because of the geometry of the roundabout. If it's a "normal" roundabout, where streets are basically 90 or 180 degree angles, you'll get the icon you did. For anything non-normal, Waze provides the exit count. Ah I see, that makes sense. It'd be nice if Waze could provide a Setti...

Multiple types of roundabout icon?
I noticed when driving the other day that the roundabout icon for the upcoming roundabout showed the direction of leaving the roundabout, rather than just having the exit number in a circle. I think these icons are much clearer as they show you which direction you are aiming to leave a roundabout, (...

Re: CarPlay - User interface covers up roads
Sadly I've not been able to grab one as the overlapping issue only happens when driving, and I'd prefer to keep my attention on the road!Hugo_Moreira wrote:Can you upload a printscreen of yor CarPlay screen?
Would a screenshot showing the placement of the road on the CarPlay screen in general help?

CarPlay - User interface covers up roads
Hello! I've just started using Waze on Apple CarPlay after switching to Google Maps a few years ago (mostly due to Waze's aggressive routing strategy). Unfortunately I'm hitting an issue where parts of the interface (such as the next direction panel) covers up parts of the upcoming road, meaning I c...

Re: Is it ok to 'lie' about speed limits? :-)
I believe Waze will use the historic speed data of speeds driven down the road rather than the speed limits set

Re: Is it ok to 'lie' about speed limits? :-)
I'd say no. Should always be the correct data - Waze's job isn't to babysit drivers [emoji4]
