Re: Changes in the guidelines for Railroad Segments.
How would one go about figuring out who owns the tracks if we are going to name based on owner? This is not generally that hard to find in my experience. In Louisiana, LaDOTD's parish maps show railroad names. Definitely wouldn't be a priority item, not even a little bit. Just a "do it if ...

Re: Changes in the guidelines for Railroad Segments.
I support changing the rules to allow adding the name of the railroad as the street name of railroad-type segments, but details like number of tracks and train frequency are not appropriate for the street name. If anywhere, details like that should live on the railroad crossing alert object. This wo...

Re: Road incorrectly named - 911 center requests help
This fix should be live in the Waze map tomorrow. There could be other little errors like this that date back to the initial basemap import in 2009 from U.S. Census Bureau TIGER data that are hard for us to weed out on our own, so please feel free to reach out if you find any other issues. For even ...

Re: New Editor version 2.129
The decision to push the search bar to the right is a curious one as it puts too much white space between the logo on the left and search bar and buttons on the right. If anything, any space should have been left between the bar and the buttons in the middle as before. I hoped this would have been ...

Re: [Page update] Road names (keyboard input for •)
I think the suggestion to add the numpad 7 is a no-brainer. Good add (I'd almost suggest de-emphasizing the 0149 version somehow). I wonder if, while we're editing that section, we could make it a little more consistent: "option-8" inherently implies holding the option key and typing &quo...

Re: Incorrect Address Location
Thanks for the report! I extended the road, added the driveway, and added the address. This might take a couple days to be effective, although sometimes we've seen it work faster. Note that recent destinations in the app are not updated, so you'll have to make sure to do a new search, at least the f...

Re: Not the kind of user content you would expect
That phrase is part of the Biz Jargon novelty voice. Novelty voices usually have extra joke content after alerts and some other prompts.
You can change the prompt voice in Settings - Voice & sound - Waze voice.

Re: New Editor version 2.115
As an example, URC-e has been broken in beta for several weeks. That is ample time to adjust. You're assuming that 1) the issue is easily identifiable 2) the script author doesn't have to work and doesn't have a family or other things going on If authoring a waze script was a full time job, yes ...
