Re: Update Request Common Issues
I just wanted to mention that the Update Request page could use a quick update, since the new editor no longer takes us immediately to the zoomed view... When you first click on an Update Request pin, the map display will automatically center on the pin and zoom in to an appropriate level. Not sure ...

Re: Hospital Emergency Entrance Roads
Alan, I really like what you suggest with the small landmark (of course), but I thought that Editor-entered landmarks didn't get searched; has that changed in the last few months, or was I just ill-informed (again)? CBenson, good point about the PL roads being de-emphasized, looks like maybe a landm...

Re: Best Way to untie a bowtie...?
Well, other than the level 3 thing, I am under the impression that when segments are deleted (to redraw), their history is lost. From Wiki: When a segment is deleted, that information is discarded. Given a choice between deleting a tangle of segments and creating new ones in their place, vs. untangl...

Re: Wacky Routing
Thanks for all the feedback. No, I hadn't planned to implement any turn restrictions or such, and I can see that turn being a viable option at low traffic times (read: night/early AM) but almost any other time, Eastbound Olive is bound to be filled with waiting cars, if that light is red, or have a ...

Best Way to untie a bowtie...?
... without deleting segments and losing history?
Some genius tied a divided road together right on top of the divider:

Hospital Emergency Entrance Roads
I have recently started installing road stubs named "EMERGENCY ENTRANCE" at the appropriate spot for local hospitals, as it seems this could be useful in a time-critical event - not that I expect Waze's algorithm to figure it out and route anyone there, but if someone is actually looking a...

Re: "turn left" voice sounds like it was cut off
Ditto on this, though I haven't paid close enough attention to notice exactly when it's doing it. When I started with Waze last November, this worked correctly, then broke with an update shortly thereafter. It bugs me, but I've (mostly) learned to just deal with it. Thanks for posting, so I could ge...

Re: map looks right, but directions wrong
Sometimes things like that happen to me when my phone's GPS momentarily loses its mind. Take a look at your drive and see if there are any anomalies there....
