Should interstates indicate direction (N,S,E,W)
Use wiki as first stop for research. It has a great search tool. Forums are good for discussions. Yes, yes. I mentioned that I had read the wiki above and it didn't call it out clear enough for me to be comfortable with moving forward, which is why I came here. To discuss. I'm good with the proper ...

Should interstates indicate direction (N,S,E,W)
Ok. Thanks. The inability to search the forum really limits research into previously covered topics.
I will comply.

Should interstates indicate direction (N,S,E,W)
Sketch, I've read that page several times and didn't think it was mentioned. Reading it again, I'd say it is unclear on proper naming convention for north/south east/west sides of separated highways and freeways. I could spruce up the page a bit to clarify. Though I do not believe we're at much of a...

Are Oregon highway designations more confusing than most?
I am trying to figure out how to properly label Oregon highways. I don't know about State Routes, as the public rarely refers to them as such. However, apparently, there are state highways number designations which are, according to wikipedia , mostly hidden from the public and rarely used. What we ...

Re: possible bug in cartouche
Sorry, I am unaware of what happened with this feature. I recorded a couple roads in the last few days and when they appear, I will check to see if they also appear in the minimap as well.

Re: Should interstates indicate direction (N,S,E,W)
I've noticed on the I- 5 corridor in Oregon that there are many portions of the interstate which use the "Nb" and "Sb" notation, which allows a user to understand that it means Northbound and Southbound, at the same time it is clearly not a "N" or "S" part of ...

Re: Naming of State Routes?
I checked around and did find an answer to this related question: What is the standard for highways which go through cities and they "go down" a named city street? Should the highway (state or US) be given the name of the city street as primary? Or does the city street name become an alter...

Re: Can't find path between roads
I had a section of road near my house which the client (and live map) would never route through. It was as though it was a ghost road. I did work in Cartouche over the course of a couple weeks, alternating between update/waiting for livemap update/not fixed/update/wait for livemap update, etc... Eve...

Re: Unecessary Slash for quotes " => \"
That make be a required escape character to allow double quotes to be stored in the database. However, the backslash (this is a backslash you typed, not a slash, which is /) should be removed automatically in the code for display in Cartouche and all client maps.
