Re: UK Petrol Stations
Retry Gareth suggestion. The brand does stick, sometimes takes a couple of tries though Well I'm afraid I can't get it to work for me. I've tried various permutations, and I always get stumped with "an error occurred while saving". However, one interesting feature is that when I move the ...

Re: UK Petrol Stations
I would have thought I would have edited and reshaped. I've tried Gareth's suggestion, and it appears to work well. Right up to the point at which I move the petrol station to the coast, and then the brand disappears. :( So I speculate that the brand of a taken-on station would disappear too if the ...

Update request: move petrol station around Cumbria, UK
The take-on data from Shell loaded two petrol stations in almost the same place. I can edit at this place, and completed the address and phone number before I realised that the station should have been positioned miles away at a place I can't edit. Strangely, the correct place does have a BP station...

Unable to set brand
For some reason, I can't set the brand at this Tesco's. When I click the brand drop-down box, there are no brands to choose from. https://world.waze.com/editor/?zoom=7&lat=51.20166&lon=-3.4629&layers=BFTFTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTFT In case there is something funny about the taken-on data here, I ...

Re: What's wrong with the Petrol Prices feature in the Clien
Some petrol stations are appearing twice in my area. And of course I'm only creating price data for one of them. So far as I can see, they are only on WME once. An example, this Texaco station comes up once in the right place, with unleaded price and telephone number, and once a couple of hundred ya...

Re: What to do with an "unknown street"?
Well, I've tried to delete it. And part of it has gone. But in trying to delete the rest, I perpetually get told that it has been edited or deleted (by someone else) and I should refresh and try again. Can anybody delete this ghost road? https://world.waze.com/editor/?zoom=5&lat=51.23371&lon...

Re: What's wrong with the Petrol Prices feature in the Clien
Did you set a route first? It will find stations along your route only if you search as a stop point while you have an active route. Yes thanks, got the hang of it now. I did have a route set, but then I was asking for petrol stations as a fresh "navigate to" rather than as "add a st...

Re: Using Landmarks for Railways
When I worked in IT, I learnt that mis-recording data for temporary convenience such as working around a system problem has a habit of causing bigger problems later. So on principle, I think if railways are going to be recorded, they should "railroad" rather than "walking trail",...

Re: What's wrong with the Petrol Prices feature in the Clien
Search seems only to be coming up with stations near my present location. What I want is stations along my route. I'd rather be told about a station I will be passing right by in 30 miles than one 2 miles in the wrong direction now.
