Re: Unlock request in New Orleans, Louisiana
Great. Apologies for the delayed response, I was out of town over the weekend and catching up on email now. We have 2 options here: if you really want the experience, I can coordinate an unlock for you, but I don't want to leave these important ramps unlocked for any extended period of time. As an a...

Re: Unlock request in New Orleans, Louisiana
Hey David!
I’m mobile right now, so I can’t handle the request just yet. But I want to confirm first, did they finally remove all the old signs? I know they had inconsistent signage up for the last few months.

Re: [Script] WME Advanced Closures
There is also a bug that prevents routing on all segments that lead into a closed node (I'm not sure that is universal, but I've seen it often and as recently as two weeks ago). It completely eliminates any benefit a closed node has over just closing the segments leading into it. So there is no poi...

Re: [Script] WME Chat addon
It's been that way for years, but I'm not sure it was intentional. Just a really really old bug / omission.

Re: Short sound instead of voice
That is not currently an option. The best place for you to go is the Waze Suggestion Box (powered by UserVoice), see if there is already a request to upvote, and if not, make a new one.

Re: [Script] WME Bad Junction Angle Info
What the above posters have said is correct. The only thing "bad" about junction angles near 45 degrees is that the automatic turn vs. exit/keep is unclear. If a voice prompt override ("TIO") is used, there is nothing "bad" about it.

Re: Updating guidance on mapping forests, lakes, and rivers
Recommend that you give some definition to what a forested area is so that we don't become like Russia and any "grove" of four or more trees is marked with an area for the green. They actually had people adding groves but then not adding the roads for large inhabited areas. Worth s...
