Re: Android v3.8.0 Official Feedback Thread
Can we please keep chat of rolling back to previous versions off this topic? This is a feedback thread, not a "How to avoid v3.8" thread. dmcconachie, with all due respect, after reading all the problems in this topic and problems encountered with 3.8, Waze itself should have given this i...

Re: Regarding Railroads
Conversely I would say the argument that some editors may not see the UR layer is very MINOR vs the advantages of the UR comment system over the Railroad system. The latter is just crude, the former is not only better but also allows us to add (/keep), an albeit minor, feature in the client.

Re: iOS 3.8.0 Official Feedback Thread
Waze has never been anything other than social. Requiring a login for friending purposes shouldn't come as a surprise and isp verification is the most universal method available.

Re: Android v3.8.0 Official Feedback Thread
So just do it. What's the great problem? Guaranteed every person who moans about privacy has plastered some part of their life on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram etc etc etc. It's your phone number, not your bank details. And nobody gets to know it via waze! How many folk here moaning about t...

Re: Android v3.8.0 Official Feedback Thread
You can verify it as long as you do have a phone though. The text or call doesn't have to go to the device itself. So once they've cleared the bug that prevents install you'll be good to go. The feature is used to match up your account with other Wazers contact lists. If you use someone else's phon...

Re: TTS street names in v3.8
Shouldn't require a version upgrade. The other bugs will and will not be quite so quick.
